This series was launched in 2012 by the ICOMOS national committees of Austria, Germany, Luxemburg and Switzerland with the idea to intensify the scientific exchange between the four committees as well as the cooperation in conservation matters. In addition, it wishes to take up subjects that are of particular interest for the German-speaking areas. Therefore, the first volume of this series for the first time contains German translations of all charters and other doctrinal texts relevant for ICOMOS. Other volumes will be published irregularly by the four national committees.
