Emerging Professionals
In 2016, ICOMOS International decided to launch an initiative with the aim of increasing the involvement of young professionals in the field of cultural heritage and in ICOMOS activities. This led to the creation of "ICOMOS Emerging Professionals" (EP). Nearly 600 members of ICOMOS worldwide are registered as "Emerging Professionals".Through annual events, such as student workshops, we want to strengthen the dialogue among each other and learn new skills and knowledge that can be valuable for further professional development. Furthermore, a network is to be created from which not only the young professionals but all ICOMOS members can benefit.
