The industrial heritage working group was founded to give industrial heritage extra weight at ICOMOS Germany. One of the focal points of its work will be to give support for World Heritage applications that include industrial monuments.

After a long time, there has now been a change of contact person for our working group. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Rolf Höhmann for his many years of commitment.
In future, there will be three contact persons with the aim of improving networking in the German-speaking countries.

Industrial heritage conservation combines research, practical experience and world heritage to form a rich and vibrant discipline. As spokespersons for the Industry Working Group, we – Ing. Barbara Berger, Sandra Kaiser and Univ. Prof. Dr. habil. Heike Oevermann – combine our individual areas of expertise to form a collective strength.
